Moon Festival Activity
It was Moon Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival) last Saturday, Oct.3. Once again, Taiwan was threatened by another SUPER typhoon. Our spirits were not dampened by the news, however. We headed towards Tainan for the weekend. The weather was sunny in the afternoon, and it became windy at the latter part of the day. Still, there was not a single drop of rain fall. Wooohooo!!! What could be the best things to do on a windy day?

I SO wish it would rain a bit here to cool the air. I have the flu & it's 93 degree outside!! I cant stand it. I'd still be in bed now but I have to wait for the cable guy & if I lay down, that's it for 5-10 hours..lol

Nicole and Rachel look amazed by their own ability to handle the kite ( helped by their father at the start , I think ) . Those kites are beautiful and imitate well centipede and tadpole ..

The girls are just adorable. I flew kites every March as a kid. I made my own kites. This brought back many happy memories today.
